THE DAY’S ROUTE
01 — SANTA BÁRBARA
We begin with one of Alicante’s most iconic landmarks — Santa Bárbara Castle.
We’ll head up Mount Benacantil to take in the city from above. The castle is worth visiting not only for its history, but also for its spectacular panoramic views.

02 — OLD TOWN
We make our way down into the historic centre and explore it at a relaxed pace.
Narrow streets, charming squares, historic buildings, flower-filled balconies and cosy cafés.
The best way to experience Alicante’s old town is simply to get a little lost for an hour or two.
03 — EXPLANADA DE ESPAÑA
After exploring the old town, we’ll head to Alicante’s famous seafront promenade.
Palm trees, colourful mosaic patterns, yachts and the Mediterranean create the perfect setting for a slow afternoon.
Stop for a coffee or a glass of wine and simply watch the city go by.
04 — LOCAL FOOD
Time to taste Alicante.
